It's bin a while since our last post but that's cos we've bin taking it real easy- watching bad cable, sleeping in, just kicking around- it sure is hard not having jobs. We've continued to enjoy our time with Mark and Mandy- lots of talking and beers and adventures to Costco and into the mountains.

Another trip to Denver saw Tom sprain his ankle skateboarding but that's just meant that he's spent more time making making remixes of bad eighties songs. Karen has also spent a good amount of time on her hobbies. She's been busy reading, jogging and transferring the holiday budget to a new software application on the MacBook Pro. Sometimes it's hard only having one computer between us.

Hi Karen & Tom
It's been great catching up with your travels in America - love the photos you've posted and the insights into life in the US. I imagine you're enjoying staying put for a coulpe of weeks, you've certainly done a lot since you landed in LA. Boulder looks like a lovely spot. Pleased you've been managing to find some skate parks and indulge in some cable TV too. Thanks for the excellent blog and keep having a great time. Take Care

Hi Nicole and Kerry and Steve!

Yep, we're still having a great time and are enjoying the USA. We're also looking forward to our upcoming adventure in Mexico. Not sure how much of their cable TV we'll be able to fully appreciate!

And I've even found a bit of time to read, Nicole. Just finished a book called 'The Memory Keeper's Daughter', which was good.

Hope you're all going well!

I've always wanted to have that many towels in my bathroom, but the trouble is they look so pretty, so you buy one, but then when you're home you've just got the one and it ain't that pretty any more without it's buddies.
Matt is already talking about doing crazy spread sheets once he has a computer to calculate which flights equate to the cheapest hourly rate of seeing me... I think he and Karen have similar interests/hobbies

Andrea, you are so right about the towels. They just look lonely without all their fluffy friends! And I'm very impressed at Matt's spreadsheet. Sounds much more complicated than my spreadsheets...I seem to prefer more menial tasks!
